Podiatry


Funded by: Hunter New England Area Health Service

The Podiatry Subsidy Scheme subsidises a set amount to be deducted from the podiatrist fee.

Eligibility:
  • Frail or at risk aged persons or younger disabled persons with a moderate or severe disability requiring podiatry services.
  • Diabetics who require podiatry services.
  • Carers of those persons.
  • On a low income or on aged or disability pension and not covered for Podiatry by a private health scheme.

How do I get included in the scheme?
Contact the Forster Neighbourhood Centre on (02) 6555 4351 for a list of participating Podiatrists nearest you to make an appointment.
