The Great Lakes Communities Against Family Violence Committee - GLCAFVC - purpose is to raise the awareness of family violence issues and to highlight available services operating within the Great Lakes area. Service providers and community workers are welcome to attend and or receive minutes.

Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month from 2:00pm - 4:00pm in the CWA rooms next to the Forster Neighbourhood Centre in Little Street. For further information call the FNC on (02) 6555 4351.

The 16 Days of Activism Campaign to be conducted late November and early December 2009 is currently the main agenda item as well as updating the Stepping Stones to Safe Living Choices resource card (original still avalable on the right).
