1st TARGET = $20,000  PLEASE NOTE: as at 16th June 4pm we have raised our 1st target of $20,000 that will be matched by WCS giving us $40,000 will allow us to start to look for a rental property.

The Forster Neighbourhood Centre first opened it’s doors in 1980 as an incorporated association – locally managed, employing local people, to address the changing needs of the Great Lakes community.

  • The State Department of Families and Community Services (FACS) - Community Builders (CB) program and Early Intervention and Placement Program (EIPP),
  • The Commonwealth Department of Social Services - Financial Counselling Program, Emergency Relief and
    No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS),
  • The State Office of Fair Trading – (NILS) and Financial Counselling
  • Club Forster - Neighbourhood Kitchen and Community Food Store
  • Great Lakes Council - small grant
